Now Spell: “Retro”

Friday, February 20th, 2009

Childhoods have been relived in the office this week when we received a link to a faithful online recreation of the famous Speak & Spell™. I still maintain that getting the right answers is more down to understanding the old-school silicon dialect than being a competent speller, but it’s nostalgia at its finest. Thank you, Texas Instruments!

Keeping Them Busy

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

All this week soon to be graduates, Shaun & Tom are doing some shameless self promotion, displaying themselves in a shop window. Their idea is “To collaborate, to use words, to interact, not just to design but to create. To be on constant show, to prove to the world that the creative mind is always doing”. We got in touch to say hello and they’ve done their own interpretation of our ’spark’ to spruce up their window display!  Keep Us Busy

Summer Sound System

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

Way back in May last year we were asked to document a series of festivals over the summer, we kickstarted it all at Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, with the job in the archive, it was almost forgotten about, but we  got a nice email from Sam yesterday asking for a photo we took of him and his girlfriend. We were of course happy to help out and thought we’d share the rest of the photos with you. See the pics

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

Yet another big brother related post, what are the chances. This time we turn to Germany, Big Brother 9 is currently running in over there and one of the housemates, Marcel, is flying the flag for Creative Spark. We designed the logo for German rap group sSUTED VIBEz, friends of Marcel, and he’s packed his case full of sSUTED VIBEz goodies to wear in the house!
