We’ve been working to create the branding for this year’s Manchester United Premier Cup and it kicked off yesterday at Manchester United’s Training ground in Carrington. The Qualifiers are this week and the final takes place at Old Trafford this Saturday. Good luck to all teams involved!

A big well done to our web developer Jake who completed the Bupa Great Manchester Run yesterday. He completed the 10k course in a very respectable time of 53 mins 43 secs

Twitter recently endured a bug that allowed users to ‘force’ others to follow them by typing accept then the user name of the person they want to follow them. Twitter had to reset accounts which made the user look like they have no followers and were following no one.

After scouring the results of thirty one different award schemes; The Drum has announced for the first time the hundred top agencies that have won the most awards outside of London. We are proud to announce that we came in at number 8 in the digital sector!

This Saturday saw our team descend on Manchester Town Hall to celebrate Gemma and Al’s much-anticipated big day. It was a heartwarming ceremony with a rousing song from a group of Al’s students, an unorthodox reading of an ancient reptilian love story and of course the happy couple looking magnificent.

Afterwards we moved on to Stock Restaurant to savour the culinary delights of lobster ravioli and witness Al’s now-legendary speech-delivering talents.

A big congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs McColl, we wish you all the happiness in the world!

The Manchester United Premier Cup kicked off this week, it gives talented under fifteen year olds the chance to show off their skills and come up against other young footballers from around the globe. We launched a new site early in the year and have just launched phase 2 to coincide with the big kick off. We’re popping down this week to take in some of the action and to see if we can spot the next Robinho!

In a detour from our regular “Chippy Friday” lunchtime taste sensation, this week we picked up a couple of Chip Shop Awards last night! One for Best Stationery Design and one for Invent Your Own Category, both in collaboration with Ian Hogg.

With a night of befriending bouncers and getting a little too intimate with the chips after the awards show behind him, Andy managed to drag himself and the trophies back from London this morning so we could all wallow in the majesty of the handmade yellow beauties and set up lighthearted photos of them with our usually-sofa-bound stuffed toys.
