I took a trip to Manchester Art Gallery this weekend to check out the work of hyperrealist sculptor, Ron Mueck. Sculptures of the human figure are tender portrayals of people in their most intimate, isolated and vulnerable moments. This exhibition features three of his remarkable, out of scale sculptures: Wild Man, 2005; Spooning Couple, 2005; and Mask III, 2005. It’s well worth a visit, the detail and time put into each piece is simply amazing and puts Madamn Tusard to shame.

The blue side of the office were full of joy this morning after a brace from Carlos Tevez put City ahead 2-1 after the first leg. But it’s all to play for next week at Old Trafford.

Getting to work was ’snow’ joke this morning (sorry, I couldn’t resist) but some have made the most of the snow, including kro bar, building this fine example of a snowman along with tray and glass of wine, impressive.
