We’ve sent out our christmas gifts, which contain Creative Spark wrapping paper and cards. Here’s Rach from Ocean’s Events sporting our wrapping paper as a lovely dress!

A few of us are pretty into photography here at Creative Spark, and today we’ve been swooning, laughing and gasping over a couple of sites that are dripping with incredible shots; GreyHandGang and TRIANGLE TRIANGLE. I advise you check them out!

MacBook Air takes mobile computing to a new level. Ultrathin and ultraportable. I don’t really need one, but I want one!

We thought it would be nice to get out placements to write a few words about there time spent with us. Here’s our first placement diary from Peter:

When I first entered the doors of the Creative Spark Studio, I was nervous, excited and eager to know what lurked within.

I was set to rest instantly by the warmth and playful environment they have setup for themselves.They have a wealth of respect for each other and most importantly the work. I was first allowed to be let loose on some menu’s for a restaurant and later enjoyed the development/design process when finalising designs with fellow designer Carl, which proved a successful piece of design which was later sent to print.

Over the weeks I spent at Creative Spark I spent my time involved at the heart of exciting projects and was fuelled with creative inspiration; driven to learn more technical skills by the team and become a Designer.

Thank you Creative Spark. Its been emotional.

Sadly, Pete; our latest work placement is leaving us today, and because he’s such a nice guy he brought us all Krispy Kreme doughnuts with hats to match!

We’ve got Nick (Hammo) in the office at the moment decorating our meeting room. We can’t give too much away but watch this space, or if you need any work doing book a meeting with us to have a closer look at our newly decorated meeting room.

Look who our star apprentice bumped into in the Northern Quarter.

(In case you don’t recognise her, she’s one half of the Cheeky Girls!)

Today sees us all wishing a happy 18th birthday to Emma. She put on her best sulky face when the camera came out but we managed to catch her usual smiling self a moment later.

We’ve been working to create the branding for this year’s Manchester United Premier Cup and it kicked off yesterday at Manchester United’s Training ground in Carrington. The Qualifiers are this week and the final takes place at Old Trafford this Saturday. Good luck to all teams involved!
